WHAT IS "REVOLUTION"?
In January 2015, I read a book called "Revolution", by Jennifer Donnelly. At the same time, I was looking to start a new project and I was so entranced by this book that I decided that I would design everything from the environments to the characters to the props, and use it as the backbone for a cohesive design project. The main focus would be environments, as I am a background designer. The book, which follows two girls, one from present day Brooklyn, and one who lives in Revolution-era Paris, was a good fit because I could design a variety of places and time periods and learn a lot from researching to make everything historically accurate. Check out what I have so far below!
